Two friends, one shared obsession: the perfect bow.

Velvet Ribbons was founded by Geetika and Nidhi. What began as wrapping for friends and family celebrations has grown into a full studio serving homes and businesses across Durham Region and the GTA.

The way a gift is given says as much as the gift itself.

Where is Velvet Ribbons located, and which areas do you serve?

Velvet Ribbons is a luxury gift wrapping studio in Whitby, Ontario. We serve Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, Clarington and the rest of Durham Region, as well as the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

What occasions do you wrap gifts for?

We wrap for corporate gifting, baby showers, birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Diwali and housewarmings. We also create festive hampers, fruit baskets and ceremony trays. If your occasion isn't listed, just ask.

Do you offer corporate gifting and bulk orders?

Yes. We wrap client and employee gifts at volume, with custom ribbon and tags in your brand colours, HST invoicing and scheduled delivery to offices. Share your headcount, timeline and budget, and we'll send a tailored quote within two business days, with sample finishes to choose from.

Can I drop off gifts I've already bought?

Yes. Drop your gifts off at our Whitby studio and we'll hand-wrap them for you, or we can come to you.

Do you deliver wrapped gifts?

Yes. You can collect finished gifts from our Whitby studio, or we can deliver them anywhere in Durham Region and the GTA.

How far ahead should I book for Christmas or Diwali?

Book as early as you can. Festive seasons are our busiest time, and December in particular fills up fast.

What finishing touches can you add?

Every wrap uses rich papers, silk, satin or velvet ribbon and our hand-tied signature bow. You can add gift tags, wax seals or fresh trims for a final flourish.

How do I get a quote or book a wrap?
